Continuing Airworthiness Management

The primary need for aircraft and engine Continuing Airworthiness Management programs is quite simply to ensure the safety of the passengers and crew of certificated aircraft and engines. Although this definition may seam a little simplistic, passenger and crew safety is the primary purpose of all governmental agencies and aircraft maintenance programs.

The more practical reasons for strict management and control of the Aircraft and Engine Continuing Airworthiness Management Programs is to monitor and schedule those technical and regulatory functions that have a direct effect on:

The residual value of the aircraft
Cost planning, financial analysis, maintenance reserve adjustments
The ability to easily return the aircraft at end of lease
The prevention of regulatory agency fines or certificate actions

When engaged for aircraft technical & fleet management projects, the full valuation & technical knowledge base of CV is brought to task. The Continuing Airworthiness Management status of all fleet aircraft and engines are monitored in real time.

Fleet management programs are custom developed for specific aircraft type, aircraft locations and other specific requirements of the client, but will usually include the following:

Airworthiness Directives from multiple agencies. FAA, EASA, ANAC, CAA etc..
Controlled Components Tracking, Hard Time
Corrosion Control Program
Engine on or off-wing Maintenance Program
Engineering Orders
Life Limited Parts, Back to Birth traceability
Maintenance Program, MPD and MRB
Modifications and Alterations
Out of Phase Inspections
Reliability Program
Service Bulletin and Alert Service Bulletins
Structural Inspection Program
STC derived maintenance tasks, Airworthiness Limitations, CMR
Heavy Maintenance Checks and C or D level inspections and repairs

Typical Service Description:
